Yes, this geometry can be formed on a tip of a fiber using the Orbit system.

Can this system be used to create just an angled flat facet on a fiber tip?
A
Yes. The standard angle range is 0 degrees (flat tip) to 50 degrees referenced off the vertical.

We have a orbit bare fiber polishing system but the holders we have on accommodate a 125um polyimide to 155um. Now we are using a 125um fiber coated with single layer acrylate bringing dia up to 175um. Do you offer chisel tip fiber holders that will fit a 175um fiber?
