Is there a video I can watch on how to properly clean a connector using this CleanTouch product?

We do not have a video. However, the correct procedure is just to lightly touch the ferrule tip to the cleaning port and remove. Do not twist or wipe. No solvents are required. It is suggested to use each port only once. If you would like a sample, please contact sales@krelltech.com.

We are looking for a desktop fiber polishing machine capable of polishing form about 300µm up to 2000 µm fibers. Ideally fiber advancement should not rely on gravity. Only 0° angle polish. Are there any demo units available in Germany/Europe?

Can you please tell me if this can be used to fix both ceramic fiber ferrules and the metal style fiber ferrules? Thank you, Rosemary Diaz

Yes, SpecPro supports ceramic and metal fiber-terminated ferrules, as well as glass and polymer types. This is also true for all Krell polishers.

Is there an adapter that will convert this polisher into a bare fiber polisher?

Yes, our Bare Fiber Mount converts the waveguide fixture for bare fiber polishing.

Do any of these machines have to be calibrated? If so, can you provide information on how often and who calibrates the machines. Thank you

For your application and system set-up, there is no need for routine calibration. You can confirm system alignment using the videoscope inspection system and measurement software. If polish angles deviate from your target specifications, the workholder provides the means for in-house adjustment.
